Egypt - The Nile

From Pharaohs to child kings, pyramids to underground tombs, date palms to cascading sand dunes, all life in Egypt is born from The Nile.

Egypt is so firmly intrenched in the past, offering reminders everywhere through its architecture, customs and culture.

Standing under the shadows of the Great Pyramid of Giza, escapting from the baking hot sun. The spectacular Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens, with elaborate tombs and monuments among the desolate desert cliffs; and puzzle over the colorful hieroglyphs on the Temple of Hathor at Dendera and the remarkable royal imagery in the mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut - Egypt is magical, as is hearing the call to prayer reverberate throughout the city, especially at sunset.
